​ABOUT THE ARTIST

Jacob A. Climer is a Scenic and Costume Designer for opera, theater, and special events. 

Based in New York City since 2005, Jacob's work has been seen throughout North America and Europe.

His work incompasses classic operas, musicals and plays, new musicals with John Kander and Sarah Ruhl. World Premier Operas and plays, and styling and designing Music videos, live events, and photoshoots.

Jacob has worked on over 30 Broadway productions in some facet or another, being the Associate designer on 15 Broadway productions.

In 2019 he was named the Designer and Creative Director for the Texas Rose Festival. An annual tourism event in Tyler, Tx that includes the Coronation of the Rose Queen. ​
